I got it back from the modder today. The reset button doesn't work, the eject button never lights up blue, and the system is not transmitting any video. What the hell is wrong? It is the apple pro chip on a v4 30001 ps2.

I can hear it reading the discs but I can't get any video or audio. I am getting my ps2 back from having the first install repaired. It didn't work after the initial modding so I sent it back. Now it reads everything but isn't transmitting any audio or video.
what a crappy installer, you would think he would test it out before sending it back. No video/audio would indicate there is a problem with the bios wires.
He said that he tested it and that it worked before sending it here. It was insured for $300
I fixed the reset button by repositioning the ribbon cable.
Who modded it for you? To leave you on your own to fix a problem yourself isnt right.
Maybe he tested it before placing the case on, but regardless it should work out of the package that was sent to you and you shouldent have to troubleshoot it youself.
As I may have said after it was first modded it didn't work. I just got it back from that repair and it still doesn't work. I think my ps2 should be replaced. I am an unemployed h.s. grad. I don't have the money to ship this back and forth and I do not plan to ask for it. I payed to send my ps2, to have it shipped home and shipped out and shipped back here. I want a modded working ps2 and I think after all this that the modder should pay for it or provide it including paid shipping.
From your posts in the past, seeing that you ordered the chip and asked questions about installing and then troubleshooting - it looks like you modded it yourself.
Well, at least tried to.
It more than likely bridged the legs of the bio.
