Krelian99. The TV your gonna buy is a multi standard Panasonic. I have one , but mines 4:3 aspect. It will work with a Japanese console without RGB. It will work in NTSC with composite, S-Video and RGB but probably not RF. It accepts colour carriers of 3.58mhz and 4.43mhz allowing PAL60(4.43) and true NTSC(3.58mhz) therefore there is no need for RGB to obtain colour. All this aside, I would use RGB anyway because of the better picture quality.
Pseudo NTSC is 625 lines at 50hz, 3.58mhz sub carrier. It is used to let US TV users to display PAL50hz signals.
