I have a new premod v7 online pack that does not always read on eject and sometimes has sound stuttering. i'm using riteks only and the chip is a dms3 2.0.

what are the possible causes for these phenonema ?

i'm afraid if i send it back to have looked at they will say nothing is wrong with it

certain wires on the dms3 have to be laid carefully without crossing each other to stop onterference with each other

interference could definately cause some to boot some not to

it will also cause sound problems ie m2 clock on v5

send it back if u feel safer send short video clip of booting and sound probems, explain that its not all the time

You may also have a bit of fluff or dirt on the lens interfering with it reading... back in the PSX days I would have suggested you check for a dirty finger print on the lens.
