isnt that a messiah wannabe? Looks like one. Ive heard of the bluchips but never seen one. damn, these are the cheapest prices ive seen around...

this one call Blue Chip or Blue Messiah?
I have installed some of this, its really good, that little pal, works with everything backup I tested, didn´t tested Xenogears because I don´t have :-(. Its the best mod I tested after messiah.

I recomend, its very fast and stable...

its a clone of the messiah for ntsc. 3rd party made it i think

i have this chip blue chip or blue messiah i cant get it to work can anyone help me its for a pal v7 machine it boots up then goes blank

I just installed two of these. One in a V1 020 and another in a V3 020. Both worked quite well.

Did you got the right version of chip? It seens this one don´t support PAL V7, only V5....

I installed this chip in following ps2:

2 ps2 V3 020 USA
3 ps2 V4 030 USA (yes, it works)
2 ps2 V5 USA
2 ps2 V7 USA

They works better at V2 to V4-030 ps2, don´t need reset, just put the media and press eject :-).

I have tested with:
p2 original
ps2 original imports (PAL/JAP)
ps2 backup (cd/dvd)
ps2 silver (dvd)
ps1 original
ps1 backup
ps1 silver
Gameshark with codes
Region 4 films (with gameshark in ps1 mode)
Region 0 films (no skiping)

All medias tested works 100%,

No Xenogears to test

too bad no one in the forum can confirm whether mods4less is a trustable site...

QWM: why do you say it works better on V2 to V4? what's the diff w/ V5-V7. I saw the install diagram where you'll need to solder a VIA hole on a V7 machine, are there alternatives?
