Its a Super7, its either an Ice based chip or an Infinity Clone, i cant remember which, but its crap.

thats not magic or ice its got a 3v for power . homer is close Infinity or messiah its a clone of a clone NHD stile PCB layout probly another HKtoys Knock off. who installed that sucker looks like they used packing tape to hold it down. Hey homer i see u like Hardcore ever get to see RDTC??

Ok thanks a lot guys. I was suspicious in having my PStwo modding by that shop, but really wanted to play import games.

Now I would like to take it back to how it was and get a refund. But I still don't trust them in having my PStwo in their hands again.
What shall I remove before giving it back to them to get the chip removed? Lense? Fan?
Or else, is it safe for me, who know very few about modding and soldering, to remove the chip before going back to the shop and giving it back to them to get a refund?

Hey hitman your in the states u shuld flip that sucker on cregs list get a referb ps2 sys from gamestop.com $109 and coems with 1 game and new lazer or $122 in store.and you wont have to wory about the new crap lazers they send out in those ver12-14. Prity sure you dont want that crap chip

Ask for a full refund or for them to swap for an un moded system un opend by them right thear dont let them take it to the back and scrach the hell out of your Lazer with a scredriver. Or try to throw a Bitch In the store about calling cops and them selling botleg games. ( they also might say they cant do any thing for you becuse u opend the sytem Throw a Bitch but dont Cus at them) Dont be scared ther not going to pull a gat on u they will jsut want u out of ther store.

What did they charge u for that chip and install ($70-120 and some games??). that chip is a $3-5 chip and is shit. Was that relly packing tape on that sucker?. If u want I can do install of Ice chip for ya. Im about 30min from you off the 10/605 In SGV
