What Chip For 30003 Uk ps2?

Guyz,

A friend of a friend has asked me to order a mod chip for his ps2. The only details I have is that the model number is 30003 (not R version). According to what I have read this means it is likely to be a V3 model. Is this correct?

From this info it would appear the messiah chip is probably the best for this model and is likely to be the safest bet in case it turns out to be an earlier version than V3.

Any thoughts??

v3 will have 10 screws/pads on the bottom; v4 will have 8. it could be a v4.
