what checks do you do when u think the lasers fried??

as in what do you check first etc??

i'm just trying to get a logical process to go through to check which bits i need to replace

When the laser is fried the only thing that could go with it is the laser controller. The only thing you replace is the laser unit itself and maybe the laser controller, but I haven't heard of the v12 laser controller burning.
