I Noticed that there are not many Apple 2 installs..
Are you guys installing many of them?
Just worked out why you did that with the clock wire
Just finished a really nice installation in a 30002 R... (V5/ V5.1)
Was about to post photos and all![]()
Then assembled her and tested - yep - as alwaysworked first time!
Then I turned down my stereo and listend to the station...
the sound worked perfectly for PS2 games but for PS1 games the sound was... well...
aweful!
Guess I will have toopen her up again and create that artificial ground plane as per EnTiTy's picture and as per Charlie's trouble shooting instructions... (i.e. simulated twisted pair...)
Strange though that it only affected the play back of sound on PS1 games![]()
If it is the clock signal interfering with componet functionality as per Charlies exlanation then why does it not happen on all games? i.e. the clock frequency is running through the wire all the time??

No one else think this is strange?
affecting PS1 only??![]()
