Good and easy install for v7 is action mars .
Next easy mod is the MATRIX MXL2 ( and very good )

Dont ever, ever, ever install a DMS3 unless you are a professional and know what you are doing. Believe me, im still trying to find out whats wrong with MINES because I tried installing one. Thanks to this board though, I may not have to buy a new PS2 after all.

Is there any chance for Matrix MXL2 playing PAL games on NTSC console?

You can do that with any mod, but the game will need to be patched or you will need to buy a converter.

I heard that there are a lot of Fake MXL2 on the market. Anyone knows about the place where I can get the original non-Fake MXL2?

Or any other MOD Chip that have no Fake one at all?
