What is the best mod???

I've been looking at a few,

First I was going to get the maxtrix infinity, then i stumbled upon the ghost2 - which i'm gearing towards.

What do you guys and gals think the best mod on the ps2 is?

To go online with backups with the Matrix and most other chips requires that the game be patched. Discussion on how this patching is done is not allowed on the forums (at least from what I've seen).

Laser fixes for the pstwo is only needed for the v12. The v13 & v14 have integrated fixes.

Duo 3 seems to be the best value chip for backups only. I've heard there are picture problems for ps1 games with the Duo 3 though.

I have to give a recommendation to the crystal chip though if you're asking which is the best mod and not which is the better mod.

and gelato you think the crysal mod id the best? I only want the best mod for my ps2 but other ppl can use what ever they want in theirs.

Also does the ps1 games work on it centred etc? not like the duo 3?

Crystal plays PS1 games perfectly (with hacked firmware) as does the matrix.

Between the Matrix and Crystal, I think they're are both good chips and probably the best currently available. I like the crystal more because it's open source so people can write their own firmware etc.

Ghost 2 v2 does play backups online without patching the DNAS like the Crystal Chip with of course hacked Ghost 2 firmware
