Weird Matrix MX4 problem in V12
Weird Matrix MX4 problem in V12 –

Hi guyz
I need your diagnosis on this one!!!
well i chipped my PS2 V12 and I applied the MFD diod laser fix. Before i flashed it it plays movies, originals fine. I then flashed the chip, now i can't boot any movies and i can't boot any backups. I can however boot an original. So i erased the eeprom. Now obviously i can't play backups but still everything else works fine including dvd movies. Reflashed the eeprom, back to the same problem nothing boots except original DVDs. I am confident about my soldering skills and i did a mod before this one that went fine but you can never be confident with those consoles. So what do you think is causing this?
I checked the A-I points they seem to be ok. They are not loose or anything. Is it the laser fix? probably reduced the laser power too much so i need to take it out?
Maybe it a faulty chip, do faulty chips behave this way?
you think i should redo the a-i points?
maybe there is a problem with the other W-U points or the Y point?
any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

in the originals under the PLAYSTATION 2 logo is the logo of infinity ???
If yes the wires ( A,B,G,I) have a fault. Rewire this points .
