Clock isn't on a via. My advice as ever is to avoid soldering to vias.
Charlie, how can I avoid soldering a Magic onto a V4 , the old magic2 points are all VIA's and most of the points (-2) on Magic3 are too!
refernce to Controller points.
You could solder to the legs of the controller chip, but I recomment the vias in this case.
Nm
ferget the legsmaybe if there were sapced atleast 2-3 legs apart per point... but never next toeach other..
I wonder if anyonve can accurate (with pics) show teh blade technique? or have a mpeg clip of someone doing it in action?
I think that would very valuable.
I'm just doing 2 V4's and suffering the same as you...
What can I say is the bottom 2 vias (G and D) are the most difficult to install. All those vias that are on the top are big enough to insert a 30awg wire inside, so you just need to apply a little blob of solder around the inserted wire.
G and D are the same size as 30 awg wire, so you'll have to solder it over the via (the harder way to do it).
I'd give almost anything to have an easy way to solder DVD controller points in V4's....
Greets!
