Very very strange!! config!!

I try to install a ****** on a v7, but i cant, first the famous black screen, when remove the chip the ps2 com back to life but with a strange problem. I cant save the config of the languaje, clock... i change the battery and the same. i dont see bridges. When i try to see the version of the ps2 in the browser; apparear a: M_name_unknow. Anyone one know where in the ps2 are this config and the info of the version? thanks alot.

Resold all legs of BIOS.
And glean the cd dvd points in mobo.
