ver12+crystal chip boot probs

hi,
just done my first ver12 with crystal chip and someones resistor mods,have put in boot disk and flashed bios.i am able to play originals but not copies. can anyone tell me should they just boot as the original do by just pressing the reset button.have also installed the boot manager and they still wont boot.all wiring looks sound on chip and board ,any suggetion where my problem could be.thanks

Do you have installed a "hacked" Firmware?
The original Firmware can "not" boot backups.
