Do you use any preventive fix on Ver 9/10 PS2 to prevent the LA chip from blowing/ Coils on lasers going out?

I voted "Other method"

I use a Static Bracelet, low power Soldering Iron, a lot of care and no hurry.

Several hundreds V9 modded and less than 1% failure rate.
