Ver. 5 PS2 with DMS3 –
01-02-2004,07:29 PM
ok, so ive browsed these forums and some others and couldnt find anything on a dms3 chip in a ver. 5 ps2, i was wondering if anyone had any success's with this combination. I have a ver. 5 ps2 that i want to put the dms3 in. My ps2 is a modchip whore its had about 5 or 6 different chips in it and also a fliptop, but the dms3 seems to have everything i want. im going to be installing this myself since i do have some good soldering skills. ive read many diff posts on wire guage and was wondering if 22 guage would be good for the solder points and 20 guage would be good for the power and ground. any other tips you guys throw em at me

I would advise 30AWG wire for solder points.
Power and ground are good with 24 but thicker is also good.
