v9 problem(pic inside)

This is my V9's problem, it will boot up and show a black screen when the fan starts to spin, the video mode will be stuck in ntsc and it will have a blank black screen. the cdvd rom ejects, and injects, the disc doesn't spin, but i think i can hear the laser check for the media, the LA chip is fine, i had performed the romeo mod.

Could this be what is causing my v9 pal ps2 to not boot up?

There is no Modchip installed, this picture is from a install done by ShadowKnight, clearest i could find of the point i needed to show.

I don't want to have to replace the whole mainboard, but if i must, is there anyone in South Australia that can be of assistence in providing me one for a decent price?

it says may lost connectivity so i suppose pad or metal ripped. have u check fuses?

looks like he bumped that cap loose from the board , put a little flux on it and touch it with your iron for a sec . also it loos like you have a solder bridge between pin 11 and 12 on the controller pins maby .

sorry loy i dont know Australian very well , i only know fosters and i think it means beer .

lol.

Just touch your soldering iron to it, hold it down while you do this, otherwise when you lift the iron, it might lift that piece with it.

be sure to use flux paste.. just another tip.
