About LinkBacksOK guys, if we assume for a second that the issue with dead V9s is soley down to the PAL versions, with the NTSCs been fine, is it possible that the issue is not related to bad builds from Sony, but instead being mod chop/ps2 bios conflict of some sort etc etc?
Is there a way of making a PAL ps2 into an NTSC with a bit of wire/soldering somewhere? I'm sure i came across this somehere in my travels.
If it is, then maybe this will stop the machines failing?

Not on hardwiring a PAL into a NTSC PS2.
