Hello,

This is my forth v9 install I've done and something weird went wrong with it. I installed a Magic 50k which worked fine for a couple of days. After a couple of days the system refused to eject the DVD-ROM and does not spin up the discs. After checking all solder points I removed the chip and cleaned all solder points. I also tested each pin around the install areas for bridges and all are perfect.

The eject led blinks but the tray does not come out. The rest of the console appears to work properly. I have check all ribbon cables and have also swaped DVD-ROM drives with another v9 system and it yeilds the same results.

This console was for a customer but I had an extra console for backup that is working fine with the same chip.

I have searched on the Internet for hours and have not been able to get a good answer on the problem and would apprechiate any help.
