I have Installed a total of 13 DMS4 PRO Chips all in V9 PS2's this week! Now on my 14th job I have ran into this for the first time. I have already did a search for this same issue, and know one realy knows what it is. Can this be a major issue? That no one has solved?

After installing the DMS4 PRO I then tested the PS2, only to find that it would only spin a little then stop. It will do this about thre times, then the clicking starts, after clicking several times the drive stop trying. Then I get a message "cant read disk"! So I tried it in another V9 PS2 and it works flawless!!!

So, I now assume its the install!
I go in and checked and triple checked all the connections, all are fine. Yet I still went back over each solder point with my solder pencil. Retested it, same thing happened. Oh yea ROMEO MOD was applied during install!!

I then unistalled the chip, I still get the same clicking sound and same error. I have test for shorts and I do have any!! I have gone over the points where I installed the chip and removed all solder just to be sure, making sure I added solder to leads on the bios chip. And I still stuck with this thing clicking and not reading.

I also tested all fuses and they are fine!!

Does anyone know what this could be? Cuz I NEED HELP with this PLZ ASAP!!!
