V9 disc won't spin, replaced LA6508.

Have a v9 here that will not spin discs at all, the laser is new from a different system (KHS400c). I had to replace the LA chip in the system, so i did with one from worldmodchips, and now eject light is lit, system ejects properly, and the laser turns on (emits red light). However the spindle that the disc sits on will not spin at all, it doesn;t move actually. What could be the problem? Cleaned the motherboard, and checked fuses, all good. Thanks!!!

Check the fuses.

Hey T07N, as stated I had checked the fuses, but they are all fine.

the LA a clone or original sanyo ic ?

& make sure the ribbon cables r still top notch

LA is a remake from worldmodchips.

you got a link for the remake - I always use the original La - no problems. did u do the romeo?
