V8 and V9 ??

Ok, i know that scph-39001/2/3/4 is a V7.
But ive read about a V8 and even a V9??
I read that on the V8 080 and 090 is written on the bios chip and that DVD-R media will not work.
But what about V9??

Which SCPH-# do they have?
Are they already released in Europe and US?

where did u get v9 from well usually 090 is v8 080 is still a v7

So is V8 a totally new board? Or is it only that it cant play DVD-R?

v8 is a v7 that can't play dvd-r. That's the only difference between a v7 and a v8.

So bios 080 is a normal V7 and still can play DVD-R with Magic 3.1 or 3.6,right?
And when you have a 090 bios you will need a Messiah 2.30 or DMS3 V2, right

There is no such thing as a v9. You will need a m2 v1.30 or dms3 for the asian v8's. The v8 will come out at e3 time for the us.
