Charlie_PS2: How is the Messiah 2 progressing as far as support for the v8 goes?
BTW, What will by difference between old and new chip supporting V8. How should I know what firmware is inside that chip.

LOL.... This is the first news I ever posted...
It seems that the current chips cannot be upgraded and newer chips are being produced.... I thought the whole point of this mod which sets it apart is that it's flash upgradeable.
well we thought wrong. the flash upgrade is onlyto solve problems with games that hang i guess and not for new methods of bootin/auth
Now that's some good news Aerick, thanks for pointing that out. Funny how Messiah can crack V8 as soon as the DMS team can... Those guy must be connected in some way![]()
That the two teams cracked v8 at the same time is easily explained by the fact that they are both producers of original no swap modchips and have been working flat out on the v8 problem.
So they know how to approach the question and hence similar outcomes.
Where exactly in the world has the V8 bin found? Any sign of it in the UK/Europe yet?
