Hey guys. So i recently repaired a v7 motherboard, and modded it with a duo 2. It was working great for a couple of days, and then within the last couple of hours, it went from reading dvd's fine, to one or two not loading, to not loading dvd's at all. So I took the laser out, and placed it into a v4 i have here, and the laser works perfectly! Now Neither burned or original DVD's are working, however cd's of all types work. I tested pin 8 of the ba58 w/ ground, and there was no continuity. Also checked ps11, ps12, and ps13, and all were fine. Could this still be the BA chip? If not, what does it sound like the problem is?

More specifically, when it tries loading DVD's, you hear a loud laser sound (which usually is normal), followed by a bunch of very high pitch squeals (at which time I shut the system off to not blow the ba chip or fry the laser). Both with modchip off and on.
