Checked fuses and they are all OK. Looked ant bios with a 30X microscope - found no bridges. Any other thoughts?????
Back out of the install see if the console wks then, this same thing is actually happening to me but the console boots up from a cold start the first time then acts as if it's going to wk but freezes up before the "PS2" logo, then if reset is pressed the thing doesnt respond anymore. I just took off all the bios wires and c,b,y and pwr and gnd left the rest on and the thing wrks as normal, so the bios is suspect at this point but I cant figure out why.....but I will! Good luck.
The console does not work when i strip out the mod chip think it is toast.
yup....I just put the mod back in and it's doing the same thing again...sigh cant ajust the clock in the sys config so y is still an issue frigging clk!
