V7 PS2 black screen !!!

I have to repair another V7 Ps2 that have black screen when turn on.

I have leave the Magic 2 and all wire. I have test all fuses and are ok.

Now what do you think ? Where is the problem ?

Why the console don't start, I have test all bios pins but are ok !!!

something or the sort happened to my ole psx,and i had to change the mother board thing,maybe you should try that or look
for parts + explain a little more on your problem,instead of saying
it shows black screen and that u left the magic chip and wires,if
you give us a lil more details...im sure you have a slightly better chance of fixing the problem ...i hope

When I turn on the console, don't star any intro but reset and eject button work fine. The leds are on and the buttons work.
On the mother board I can't see anything that show the problem, I have tested all and I don't know where put mi hands to resolv the problem

I will almost guarantee that there are a couple of points touching somewhere, either on the bios, or the dvd controller.

where is the dvd controller on the mother board ?
is left near bios ?

I agree with Racer. It's likely to be a bridge on the BIOS or solder has rolled under the legs. You can't see that. Or if the vias have been soldered on, one of them may have sunk into the motherboard ruining the layers.

I have talked to the owner of Ps2 that has installed Magic2.

It says of to have damaged the component of the point 3.3V and to have replaced it with one similar taken by a PSX.

What do you think of it, can be this the problem?

It's clear to me what you have to do.

Back out of the mod and bring the PS2 back to standard condition.

If you can't, then solder bridge or component damage is likely.

If you can, then re-build the mod installation slowly and surely.

I am having this prob too i get a black screen, NO intro, Not even any sound from my Amp but the PS2 seems to be functioning,

When i say that the LEDs are on, reset and open work fine it even sounds as if the Disk is loading, but it seems their is NO OUTPUT AT ALL

I don't wanna open it though coz i brought it as a premod Magic2 Version7 PS2 i have sent it back and they can't find anything wrong with it they tried telling me they would repair the problem(but if it seems fine to them what is there to fix) i reckon they wanna try sending me the same console back UNTOUCHED

I wont let tham get away with this and have given up on the Magic2 V7 combo, i will get a refund and want to get one with messiah or messiah2
