You can disable the macro with a 12c508, but you can't do the RGB FIX by just the simple link to ground, you need to use a 12c508 for this aswell.
What is 12c508 ? Where I can read about this ?
12c508 or 12c509 are OTP PIC micro controllers from MicroChip. They are what was used to chip the PS1's.
There are a few threads here about using them as a second add on chip similar to the old days where you used a colour conversion chip on the SCPH-1002 and 5502 stations.
Here I`m found 12c508 code of "NEO MACRO MOD for the PLAYSTATION 2" and diagrams for V1 and V4 macromod.
Diagrams for V7 is available or it`s like V4 ?

Tnx and it`s really fix green screen on V7 ?
Because green screen, I think, it`s a mixed synch signal with RGB but no macrovision ?
I guess you talking about sync on green aka RGsB (those who doesn't know about it can read http://www.syncblaster.com/gtmfytv.htm#Sync).Originally posted by Engine23

And yes I think you're right. I guess video controller must be programmed by modchip to not to mix sync into green signal.
Practical solution is another story, though.Perhaps I'm not enlighted enough to do this myself.
OK, but anybody testing "NEO MACRO MOD for the PLAYSTATION 2" in 12c508 PIC on V7 ?
NEO MACRO MOD can programm video controller to not to mix sync into green signal ?
