V7 PS2 with MI and latest firmware. Boots as normal. Can go to modchip menu. Insert a game... starts booting but before it even displays the PLAYSTATION/Matrix logo the whole thing goes black. No video or audio. Try to reset it and then it won't even go to PS2 menu. If I leave the PS2 in standby for a bit and turn it on I can get back to the PS2 menu but it happens all over again as soon as I try to load a game.

Is this a faulty BIOS wire?

Thanks for the responses guys. I went in and cleaned it up. I also resoldered my 3.3v and GRND because the solder looked like I had used a dirty iron on it. Anyway all is well now.
