    xxxbamxxx Guest
Have a V7 GH-019 Board. When i power on the ps2 the Eject light doesnt come on and it wont eject. There is video and sound and the red reset light is on. Now i looked over the Fuse Diagram but dont know what fuse controls the eject. I also tryed 3 eject cables so it has to be the fuse can someone point me in a direction on what fuse control eject please.

Also tell me what Type of fuse i will need to purchase.

Is this straight after fitting a mod chip or something? In which case it is possible that the ribbon cable is trapped or damaged from the Eject/Reset switch.

switch ti to 200 and see if it reads 0.00 ... Zero continuity = dead fuse, assuming you know how to use a multimeter

you probally have to replace fuse ps11, which is a 2 amp fuse. PS11 controls the sled and tracking and the motor to the cd motor. If thaty fuse is blown, you cant eject the tray no mattter how many times you press it.

OF COURSE you cant just buy a 2amp fuse from radioshack, their voltage ratings are too high. You have to get another two amp fuse(labeled 50) from a dead ps2 to replace it in your ps2.
