V7 Eject –
I have a new V7 mobo GH019 and i installed ezi today and soldered all cd/dvd controller points as well as P, O, and X. Now, the eject wont eject. I can disable the chip and everything but no media plays and the drive wont eject. When i power on the dvd drive light blinks a few times (which isnt normal if i remember a working PS2 correctly). I tried a different drive, laser, eject cable and nothing. Is this symptoms of a dead BA?? I checked leg 8 and it isnt grounded and no fuses are blown. Does anyone know what else i could do?

People don't support EZI here, goto their forum and ask.
Step 1: Remove EZI, see if your system even works normally anymore, the EZI could have damaged the system.
Step 2: Throw EZI away, get a regular mod chip.
Seriously though, the DMS team should be ashamed of even producing a chip like the EZI. It's all be tried before, and the strewn carcasses of PS2s have been left in the wake. These "no solder" mod chips are terrible for your console...
