V7 dms3 super fast dvd eject and insert...HELP!!!

I just put a dms3 in a v7 and everything was fine for about 5 minutes then the I tried to boot a ps1 using the controller method (it worked the magic way) well after I tried the controller method everytime I tried to eject the dvd tray it sounded like a robot and ejected the tray like a bat out of hell, and inserted it back in the same way, and it keeps getting faster and faster evrytime I try it. And when I do let it go in it gives me a disc read error. I am not gonna try anymore games until I get some ideas on how to fix it. Anyone else have this proble? TIA

check for loose wires and check the cables and ribbons comming for the cd rom drive
