V7 Disassembly Problem

I'm having problems removing the shield/heatsink assembly from the bottom of the motherboard on a new V7 (SCPH39001). I've done this several times previously on other units. This one seems to be stuck hard on something.

Am I missing something? Is there a trick to this?

yeah....the soft magnet attached is clinging onto the emotion engine, etc....

just pull but don't bend the board....it'll come off

just pull the sucker off.

it's a heat conductive pad
