V7 Alternate X point

I was wondering if there was any chance anybody knew of an alternate x point on a v7 ps2 if so please let me know?

Forgot, I'm using a duo 3 chip if that matters

Well, let me explain a bit.... I had this ps2 modded by someone about 2 years ago. It has a duo 3 gold chip...has worked great up until I tried to play ff7 backup which was the first psx backup I'd tried. I'm just assuming that x would be the psx point on this chip....correct me if I'm wrong. The guy who modded it said that he thought he may have messed up that pad...haven't really checked.
