Ok, I have a v5 here that was modded with a Magic 3.1 well over a year ago.

Everything turns on and get sound and video, just no disc spin. It spins just a little bit and then nothing. It does focus the laser up and down and move the head. You can see the laser light up when its turned on, just no movement.

I even changed out drives and same result so that eliminates the drive part.

Now is it one of the BA chips? If so, which one?
