V5 Laser question

Will non name branded dvd-r media work well in a V5 ps2's with a magic 2? I heard the newer models are better at handling cheap dvd-r media.

actually, I did 2 v5/v6's this weekend, and they handled everything fine... cheap dvd-r and cd-r... Booted everything like it was a PS2 original... My v4 on the other hand is another story... I hear that v7's aren't much better than the v4's... I think you have it made in the shade
