v5 Duo2 problem

This is my second Duo2 I have installed, and boy is it frustrating! It boots CD's most of the time. Sometimes it gives the RSOD. It won't boot DVD's.

I doublechecked I have no bridges. I might have a cold joint somewhere. Could anyone point me in a direction to look?

umm won't boot dvds could be your laser might be a bit dirty or weak. U should also try shortening all of your wires
