V5 30001R video problem
V5 30001R video problem –

I have a V5 30001R motherboard that works great on cold boot (power to ps2 unplug for 10-30 minutes). You can reset the PS2 as many time as you like at this point. However, if you hold the reset button down to put the PS2 into standby mode, the next time you press the reset button the video gets all grabble up. The screen doesn't scoll up and down. It's almost like an interlace non interlace mode video problem. I tried, reseting many times, power off and on, it still doesn't help. The only thing that will help is if you power off and leave unplug for 10-15 minutes. Plug everything back up and power it on. The video is back to normal. You can play the games for hours and no problem. Just if you try to put the PS2 into stand by mode that's when you get that grabble video.
Has anyone had this problem before and do you have any suggestions that can help me resolve the video problem. It's driving me crazy.

Also, the motherboard hasn't been moded yet. That was my next project once I get the video under control.
