V4 Wierd prob

My ps2 runs perfectly.. for 10 minuites :mad: after that it will Disk read error then freeze making me having to restart the ps2. After restart the blue eject light will turn off completely and the ps2 wont read any games. After I turn it for for about an hour from the psu and turn it back on it will begin to work again. But only for a couple minuites befor another DRE. Any ideas?

Maybe it was not adjusted right or there is a fan problem. Could be the laser or something else.

Did you replace the heat transfer material over the BA when the system was reassembled? Sounds like it might be missing and the BA chip is starting to burn out.
