    What bios does the v5 have? coz I have a v4 1c and Im soon getting a magic chip 2. and Im thinking it might work. in my v4 1c with an 040 bios

    what do you guys think?

    Sometimes they change the bios chip they are using, but still they use the same code, for example, I had a V4 Datecode 1a, which suppostly are just gapped roms. I was almost giving up installing a Messiahs on it (since its NTSC and u know its really difficult to get a console chipped with it). After talking to several experts, it seems that the messiahs would work prefectly, but I had to solder all the points directly to the bios chip (using the picture that looks like made with paint). And magiclly my messiahs worked on the Non Gapped Rom (which most sites stated that they wouldnt work). Just to let ya know that having a different chip doesnt mean anything, but u have to check datecodes thou. Hope I just dont confuse u more rather than help.. hehe

    hmm, so you're saying it could work depending what code is on the bios.

    mine is a datecode 1c, so I dunno,
