i have installed an H2O and v4 slimfix into a v12(also done colour fix)

ps2 boots opriginal games ok, but slimfix light is flashing blue. don't want to try dvdr untill i know the fix is working.

should the fix be flashing, solid blue or off?

i have used the same 5v for both H2O and fix, could this be a prob?

    thanx in advance.

The H20 has the fix on board so you didnt really need the comsoft fix but as its flashing its ok. Have you done the summ0ne resistor fix as well, this gives your laser further protection.

Don't need for the resistor fix, it's makes problem reading disks.

the comsoft fix works 100% with protecting the len coils.

i'm installing from day 1 and not even one return of dead coils.

Is the flashing blue LED normal or should it be on permanently?

don't want to fry the laser.

    It's sould be flashing.

to test if everything works fine, disconnect K, turn on console, and then connect K to GND, the console should be shutdown immidietly.

    now connect the K again.
