v4 no solder problem

i installed the v4 no solder chip but when i turn my ps2 on everything is fine except the tray wont open, wen i press eject the light just blinks over and over... any1 know what is doin this?

it cant be the chip if the chip wasnt plugged in fully the thing wouldnt turn on at all, instead it turns on and wont eject, i found a lose wire that was conected to the cd rom and i pluged it in but it didnt do anything, and then i tried to unplug it and plug it back in, and now the light wont even blink on the eject button
