v4 with magic3 problem
v4 with magic3 problem –
here is my story , i installed magic3 on v4 board ntsc. after i finish i get no video or audio from it, and the fan sipn very fast no light from the eject and reset buttons. so i checked charlie f&q and i found that the soulotion for this thicker wire .but there is no mod inside soi checked for soldering ball and blowen fusses but no luck i couldn't anything ...... but as you are all guessed it won't worked....
then after few days i found that i cut the track between the via point to the leg (point b or c i cant remeber now) so i checked with multimeter where it leeds, and connect the leg to the other side of the board.
here is my resulat:
1. still no audio and video
2. fan spin normaly
3. eject light flash
4. after pressing on the eject button the door keeps goes in and out till i hit the power button

I you're accidently cutting tracks on a ver4 board, you shouldn't realy be doing the mod yourself. Thats not an attempt at flaming you. I suggest you remove the mod and see if you can get it to work as it's supposed to without the mod. Then if you are sure you can do it, try again.
Check all wires with a multimeter, and check with the meter for shorts. You cannot tell just with the naked eye.
It sounds like you have a short on the bios pins.
From my experience one of your Bios connections is incorrect, bridged etc.
