    Since the fault happends due to warm-up, the best approach is to buy yourself a can of Freeze spray. Most TV and video spare parts retailers stock this item.
    Here's what you need to do once you have the spray:
    Take the bottom cover off your PS2 and remove the metalwork. Your main board should now be exposed.
    Place your PS2 vertically, but be careful, since the bottoms not on it, it won't stay vertical very well.
    Now turn your PS2 on and boot a game.
    Wait for the fault to appear.
    Now using the freeze spray, spray a small section of the main board and see if this corrects the fault. If not, spray in another section. Keep doing this until you find a spot where freezing it corrects the picture. Now you have to narrow it down by component.
    You should have a fine spray attachment given to you when you bought your freeze spray. This attachment allows just a very narrow amount of spray to be ejected. You need to use this to spray each component in the general area where its most effective.
    If you do it right, you'll find the exact component thats causing your problem.
    Since your symptoms show picture tearing, you might want to try around the area of the IC thats shown in the pic bellow, as this controls alot of your video info.
    Please let me know how you get on.
    Good luck!!!
    Regards,

    Just check very good for loose wires/solder ball/splashes and stuff.

    It's a know fact that things grow and shrink when they're heating up and collling down. Maybe a wire just barely touched a spot, when the picture is good, but when affected by heat, it wont, or just make a littel bit.

    Resolder wire points and check the ntsc bridge/rgb fix.
    You may also check your av out. It's also affected by heat, so maybe it isn't you ps2 wich causes the trouble, maybe your video cable...............

    {edit}

    Some added content. Be shure to check your NTSC fix point. If i can clearly see on teh pictures you provided, the image is in black and white (not the pictures itzelf, since there is a blue ext-in sign on your tv).
    The NTSC fix, as you probably know, solves the black/white screens.
