heya everyone, it been a while since anyone asked to mod a ps2. I was fairly supprised to see the new redesigned ps2. I mean how small can the motherboards get lol.

Anyways, Im here to ask if anyonw has ran into ps1 booting issues. Problem is, ps2 originals and backups work like a charm, even dvd9 backups (God Of War 2)

But, for some reason, I get a red screen of death (RSOD) when trying an original or a backup of a ps1 game. Same results when the chip is disabled.
Was wondering if this chip even supports ps1 in these new versions.

This is the install that fits the ps2.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS. before someone asks, I am using regular composite cables and not HD.
