I have a v12 that I modded with first a ripper iv chip, and now a dms4se and did the summones subzero fix applied to it. I only used half the fix and replaced the resistors completly with 100k ones. After a while, it turns off and won't come back on for a while. Is this a heat issue or something with the summone fix maybe?

its a grounding isue reinstall then shuld be ok also make sure the 3.3 of ps14 is all good. Clean all solder points after install.. and you shuld be all good Dms is the one chip that needs the best install an over priced $5 install will go bad after time(China town, wanabe instalers). First timersits ok to d a slopy install. Also make sure not to cros over any wires or the large Ic chips from other side.. on bottem of board looks like lots of via points and smd caps.

Well it actually did this before with the ripper iv chip in it. I do have some lights I soldered on to the board so I may try taking those off first and then see if it thats what's causing the short or not.

Ok, now it turns off right after being turned on. It does turn on for a sec, and right back to standby. I guess I'll start with the multimeter tomorrow and a magnifying glass and play find the solder splash!!!
