2amps or 2.5amps should work fine. Yeah those smd fuses you order should work fine. Either one should work.
I have the same problem on a v12 console a customer tryied to chip, ps14 and the resistors connecting to neofix was gone.
I replaced the fuse and resistors but it still wont start, red led on standby and it turns green for a sec and then back to red.
I have also tested the power regulators.
The power adapter (8.5volts) was also gone.
Did you check other fuses? Maybe you're using the wrong fuse as the replacement.
Yes all fuses are checked, dont now how i can use wrong fuse since the main function of a fuse are to lead power from one side to the another and break if something gets wrong.
Does anyone now how the stanby circuits starts the main power?
I now on 1.6 xbox there was a transistor that got busted and the unit showed similar symptoms.
S-mario if red led on standby and it turns green for a sec and then back to red you must check ps3 and ps15.
Other think reset point grounded please check reset point carefull.
