    hi guys

checked all fuses as per diagram and they're all ok, any idea where to look next??

i've started thinking was i on the 5v point too long with my ironi soldered to right hand leg (when looking with power connector facing you)as it gave me more surface area but my 12w iron struggles to melt alot of solder so i was on there for a bit longer than i would of liked.

is there any way of testing this component??

    cheers for your time

have you tried removing the chip? start with the BGI wires (desolder them from the board then test ps2) then the bios

it's not that easy to damage the board with a 12w iron, especially on the 5V point, so you shouldn't have to worry about that
