    Just modded a V12 (GH-035-11) with a DMS4Lite together with a V12Fix2.
After modding I tested and everything looked fine ........ for a few seconds that is. Then the disc stopped spinning and never spinned again.
All fuses are OK. Even replaced the complete discdrive and that gave no result. Removed the complete installation and nothing changed.

    Anybody any ideas??

i was just having the same problem and i was helped so i can tell you you need to test the focus and coil resistors on the motherboard ( 303 number on top ) and see if you get 30k resistent , if not you should replace them !

Try removing them, and see what happens... I agree with nirbeltran, that is were it most likely is...

I had the same, and removed the resistors from the motherboard, replaced with 30k ones, and voila, the disc spins again. I would check your laser coils as well, as I fried my one.

Also did a sslim with the 683 resistors and it has almost 100 hrs play without a hitch ( thanks Summ0ne for the fix).

    Hope this helps.............

Hi Trabel, what resistors did you replace? Just the 303-ones?

btw i removed the "bad" resistors and checked them.... they are giving me good resistence ... about 30k ....
so i doubt this is the prob ... but i'll replace them any how...
