v12 Broken ?

i installed CC and comsoftv4 in v12 ps2. it worked fine obout 10 minutes and then it freazed didn't even respond to reset button. so it was rebooted by taking power cable of. next start looked normal but it didn't read any disk.
I took a look in it and Comsoft power wire was loose i soldered it back and tested the machine. now disks dont spin but there flashes red on laser when switch are down.

what shoud i check or is it totally broken ? all seemsto be fine

Edit: never should send these in morning. fixed right chip

Try removing the fix.

Remember to add a wire from point A where u cut the track to point B ,when u remove the fix, otherwise i will promise you it wont spin.

did you try uninstalling the chip yet ?

if the comsoft fix didnt have the power wire on, it let the lens burn.
It has no failsafe mechanism, it even has a resistor bridging the cut track so that instead of the ps2 not working when the power wire is missing (Subzero fix) - it burns (comsoft fix).

But comsoft would say that his is better cause it alters the ps2 less and is more complicated.
