V10 trouble, please help

Just modded a V10 with a fake Matrix MXL2. Did the Romeo mod as well.
Now the drive seems to be dead, only thing what is does is open en close.
Both motors aren't spinning anymore. The laser is glowing shortly and doesn't seem to focus.
Because I suspected a dead LA chip, I replaced it with the LA6508(RII) but still no results.
Checked fuses, found none blown.

Any ideas??

did you open the CDROM To see if Laser is ok ?
I have here PS2 with burned laser , like some one burn hem lol

. maybe same shit happens to you too .

Laser is ok, coils are reading 5.1 and 5.5 ohms.
Even replaced the whole diskdrive, no reslults.

well no spin meaning no cd spin???? meaning the laser is tring to read but the thing won't budge??? coudl be the lb

Indeed there's no CDspin and the laser is not brought to its neutral position, so that motor seems to have no power as well.
So LB you say, could it be that the fuse survives and the LB didn't or is this circuit not really secured by a fuse?

well the fuse only protects from to much volatage form entering the chip. cuasing it to blow. it could be possible that it blew by it self. Have u taken the mod out to see if it helps?

Yes, I took out the chip but that makes no difference.
Is there a way to check the LB?
